The Little White Car

by Danuta de Rhodes

Fun, easy read. I really liked this book. It was a gift, so again, one of those magical books that you may not have seen or bought for yourself. It was a bit of a gem. I got it years ago, began to read it, then placed something on top of it … moved, etc etc. Just picked it up again a few weeks ago and read it super quickly.

Young Parisian, Veronique, dumps her pretentious boyfriend and drives home a little worse for wear. The next day she learns Princess Diana has been killed in a car accident in a tunnel. Veronique remembers driving very slowly through a tunnel – and sure enough, her little Fiat Uno is a bit crumpled. And now the police are looking for the mysterious driver of “a white car”.
